Impact Promise

For every print purchased, a set of photo notecards will be given to a family with a baby with Down syndrome.

Additionally, we are donating 15% of the proceeds to select causes - all related to special needs communities we have worked in around the world. For any print purchased, 15% of the proceeds from the sale of these photographs will be donated to the projects and organizations listed below.

The Sunshine Ambassadors

A portion of proceeds will be donated to the Sunshine Ambassadors. The Sunshine Ambassadors is a non-profit dance troupe. Their motto is “enriching the lives of individuals with disabilities through dance.” They use Choreography Techniques that keep in mind balance, focus, sensory, processing, cognitive, and other issues. Classes are held in Tennessee, Kentucky, and New Mexico.

The Inspiration Orchestra

A portion of proceeds will be donated to the Inspiration Orchestra in Perth, Scotland. Their motto is “Disabled people enabled to play beautiful music.” The Orchestra is led by the incredibly talented, world-famous musician, Ian White. Their program revolves around weekly individual music lessons, weekly orchestra practices, and monthly public concerts. All lessons are provided free of charge. Orchestra members have a wide range of disabilities and come together for amazing performances. The owner of Megginch Castle invited us to her home to take photographs. She hosts performances in the gardens by the Inspiration Orchestra.

The T21 Project

A portion of proceeds will be donated to the T21 Project. The T21 project is a photography project working to document in words and photos the beautiful proof that people with Down syndrome are “more alike than different.” Houston was featured as part of the T21 Project and it helped to spread the word about his travel photography. And, many of the portrait photos used in the Downs & Towns media were taken by Juliet Furst of the T21 Project.

Neuro Brilliant Magazine

A portion of proceeds will be donated to support the Neuro Brilliant Magazine. This is a bootstrap publication highlighting stories and providing helpful information to families navigating the disability community.
